lol... the original post refers to a band, not the burning software :)

but, regarding the burning software, i too have a yet to find a way to make it default to 0 seconds. however, there is an easier way to set the time to 0 other than setting each track - you can select all the tracks, right click, click properties, and change the pause to 0 seconds.

don't forget - for the 1st track of your "compilation" you need to keep the 2 second gap. This allows Nero to burn 2 seconds of lead-in time (a redbook standard, I believe). It will give you an error if you change that to zero.
